Terms of Service

Last updated: August 6, 2026

These terms govern your use of Vanssay: our Framer plugins, our website (vanssay.net) and related services (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Marin de Vanssay, sole trader (vanssay.net), contactable at support@vanssay.net. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service & our plugins

Vanssay provides Framer plugins that share one Vanssay account. Currently:

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Trustpilot, Instagram, Meta, Framer or Stripe.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. One Vanssay account grants access to every plugin. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent in your country, and use the Service for business or professional purposes. You may only connect business profiles, domains and sites you own or are authorized to represent.

3. Plans, billing & refunds

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: display reviews not genuinely associated with your business, or manipulate, fabricate or misrepresent ratings; use Bouncer or Router to deny or divert access in a way that breaks the law (including anti-discrimination, consumer-protection, data-protection, sanctions/export-control or accessibility rules); circumvent plan limits or watermarks; resell or sublicense the Service without authorization; reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service; or use it for unlawful, deceptive or harmful purposes. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. Reviews

For Reviews we retrieve only publicly available review content via the platforms' interfaces and cache it temporarily to serve your widgets. Review content belongs to its authors and the originating platforms; you are responsible for ensuring your display of it complies with Google's and Trustpilot's terms. We do not guarantee that any given review will be available, as platforms may change or restrict their interfaces at any time.

6. Instagram Feed

7. Bouncer & Router: accuracy, fail-open & your responsibility

8. Maintenance Mode

Maintenance Mode adds an overlay or redirect when you enable it and fails open if our backend is unreachable, so visitors are never stuck on a broken page. You are responsible for maintaining a valid IP whitelist; if your IP changes you may need to re-add it to regain access. Availability, features and pricing for plugins marked "coming soon" may change before release.

9. Data protection & your visitors

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. For data about your own site's visitors processed by Bouncer, Router or Maintenance Mode (e.g. the real-time IP check), you are the data controller and Vanssay acts as your processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and for providing any privacy notice your jurisdiction (including the GDPR) requires. A data-processing addendum (DPA) is available on request at support@vanssay.net.

10. Intellectual property

The Vanssay software, plugins, widgets, branding and site are our property. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the plugins on sites you own or manage while your account is in good standing. Review content and any content you supply remain yours (or their authors').

11. Availability & disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We rely on third-party providers (Google, Trustpilot, Instagram, Apify, Framer, Stripe, Brevo, ip-api.com and our hosting) and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that those providers will not change their interfaces. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

13. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@vanssay.net. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms, with notice where reasonable. On termination, your license ends; the Privacy Policy governs deletion of your data.

14. Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date and, where significant, notified by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence still apply, and EU consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
