Vanssay ("we", "us") provides a Framer plugin and related services that display Google and Trustpilot reviews on websites. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

1. Data we collect

• Account data — your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
• Business configuration — the Google Business Profile and/or Trustpilot page you connect, plus your widget settings (layouts, filters, pinned/hidden reviews).
• Review data — publicly available reviews fetched from Google Places and Trustpilot, cached temporarily to serve your widgets quickly.
• Usage data — anonymous, aggregated widget view counts per account (used for plan limits). We do not track or profile your site's visitors; no cookies are set by the widget.
• Billing data — payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

2. How we use it

Exclusively to operate the service: authenticating you, fetching and displaying your reviews, enforcing plan limits, processing subscriptions, and sending essential transactional emails (e.g. password resets from no-reply@vanssay.net via Resend). We do not sell or rent personal data, ever.

3. Third-party processors

• Google Places API — review retrieval (subject to Google's terms).
• Trustpilot — review retrieval (subject to Trustpilot's terms).
• Stripe — payments and billing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.

4. Data retention & deletion

Review caches expire automatically. Account and configuration data are kept while your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@vanssay.net — we process deletion requests within 30 days.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to its processing. Contact us at support@vanssay.net to exercise any of these rights.

6. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access tokens are signed and time-limited. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users of any breach as required by law.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date.
